San Diego, CA ? January 2, 2002 - 168 Feng Shui Advisors have announced that they will be teaching Traditional Chinese Feng Shui Classes on February 23rd and 24th at 10:00 am at the Regency Plaza Hotel.
?Because of the vibrant culture, lifestyle and new home development around San Diego, we have had numerous request for classes and information about the traditional Chinese practice of Feng Shui. To fulfill these requests, we will be teaching the American Feng Shui Institute classes in a special weekend event in San Diego,? said Chris Shaul, one of the founding partners of 168 Feng Shui Advisors.
He goes on to state that: ?This is a significant event that marks the growing acceptance of Feng Shui as a tool used by architects, planners, and developers in general, but also in the expansion of the American Feng Shui Institute.?
Raymond Cheng, past president of the California State Board of Architectural Examiners and a leading member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) agrees: ?168 Feng Shui Advisors have finally made it possible to introduce Feng Shui to more people and transform this ancient art into a modern knowledge of controlling and balancing of the surroundings to achieve happiness, prosperity and health.?
Often referred to as Chinese Geomancy or Earth Wisdom, Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese study of the natural and “built” environment and has been practiced for thousands of years. Founded in 1991, the American Feng Shui Institute is the only institute in the West to teach Feng Shui as a science while committed to dispelling the mysticism and superstition surrounding Feng Shui.
